Shakti Soundar Rajan was born on 10 March 1982, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is an Indian film director who predominantly works in Tamil cinemas.
Career:
He worked as an assistant director to Venkat Prabhu. Shakti Soundar Rajan debut as a director with the heist thriller film Naanayam [2010]. He achieved a breakthrough with the action thriller film Naaigal Jaakirathai [2014]. He is all set to direct his next movie after the success of his recent flick “Tik Tik Tik,” India’s first space movie. He is known for experimenting with different genres and his movies incorporate great technical expertise and new elements. His second movie “Naaigal Jaakirathai” dealt with a bond between a cop and man’s best friend and he addressed the bizarre subject of Zombies with his third movie “Miruthan” which is the first Zombie film in Tamil film industry. His upcoming movie is Teddy.
