Ajith Kumar is an Indian Tamil actor and a car racer who acted in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi movies. He is not only a motor car racer but also has cooking skills, photography, air pistol shooting, modeling, and also participated in the MRF Racing series in Chennai in 2010.

Ajith was born on 1 May 1971 in Secunderabad, Telangana. His father Parameshwar Subramaniam is a Tamilian and his mother Mohini mani is a Sindhian. He has two brothers Anoop Kumar and Anil Kumar where Anoop is a Stockbroker. He had 2 sisters both were died at a very younger age. He married Shalini in 2000 who was a child artist. Both were blessed with a daughter Anoushka Ajith born in 2008 and a son named Aadvik Ajith born in 2015.

He completed his schooling from Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School in Chennai. His hobbies are racing, playing cricket, photography and reading books. His favorite sports are Football, Cricket, riding, and racing. Ayrton Senna is his favorite racer. He likes to wear Black color. He likes food cooked by his mother especially Bhendi, Kebabs, and Mutton Biryani. MGR, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Rajesh Khanna, and Amitab Bachchan are his favorite actors. He is a devotee of Sai Baba.
Career life:
He participated in several racing championships like Formula Maruti Indian Championship 2002, Formula BMW Asia Championship 2003, FIA Formula Two Championship 2010, Formula 2 Championship 2010.
Before, he used to work as a salesman for a garment export company. His first debut in Tamil is En Veedu En Kanavar in 1990. His first Bollywood debut is Asoka in 2001. Singer SP Balasubramanyam introduced him to the Tamil industry referring a role to him in the movie Amaravathi. He also received many awards like Tamil Nadu State film awards, CineamExpress Awards, Filmfare award south, Vijay Awards, Dinakaran Cinema Awards, South Indian International Movie Awards.
