J.D.Chakravarthy is an Indian actor who I well known for his works in the Southside film industry and Bollywood. He directed a few Bollywood movies like Durga, Darwaza Bandh Rakho, Darna Zaroori Hai.

JD was born on 16 April 1972 in Hyderabad, Telangana state. His father's name is Suryanarayana Rao Nagulapati. His mother Dr.Kovela Santa was a Carnatic singer retired professor. He completed his schooling from St.George’s Grammer School in Hyderabad. He gained his BE from CBIT. He got married to Anukriti Govind Sharma on 18 August 2016.

Career life:
He started his acting career with a movie Siva directed by Ram Gopal Varma was a blockbuster hit in 1990. His first Bollywood movie Satya was also super hit at box office released in 1998. He received Screen Award, Special Jury Award for his performance in that movie. All over he starred in more than 70 movies in different languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. Ram Gopal Varma directed and produced more than 30 movies with JD. Some of his hits are Money, Gulabi, Premaku Velayera, Egire Pavurama, Pape Na pranam, Bombay Priyudu, Mrugam, Deyyam, Madyanam hathya.
