Babu Mohan is an Indian Comedian-actor who predominantly worked in the Telugu film industry and later joined politics.
Personal life:
Babu Mohan was born on 5 April 1957 in Beerolu village, Khammam District in Andhra Pradesh. His father was a teacher and his mother was a homemaker. He got married to Indra Vijaya Lakshmi and both were blessed with two sons Pavan Kumar and Uday Babu. Pavan Kumar in 2003 died in a road accident. He got a job in the revenue department but left that job to get into the movie industry. He completed his education from YMCA college.

Career life:
Babu Mohan first debuted in the movie Ee prasnaki Badhuledi in the year 1991, later in Ahuthi and Anukshanam. He started doing comedy roles beginning with the movie named Mamagaru. Most of his characters in the movies are along with Kota Srinivasa Rao and Brahmanandam. Some of the noted elements of him with Brahmanandam are a Hello brother, Varasudu, Allari Alludu, Appula Apparao, Peda rayudu, Jamba Lakadi Pamba, etc. Most of his hit roles were directed by SV.Krishna Reddy. Later due to the interest in politics he entered into politics
Political Career:
Babu Mohan was a very committed and loyal supporter of NTR from the beginning which led him to join Telugu Desam Party. He won as an MLA from Medak district. He served as Labour and Factories Minister in TDP Government. Later he joined TRS and he won in 2014. Again he joined BJP recently.
