Baladitya is a Telugu actor, lyricist, dialogue writer, dubbing artist, and also a TV host. He acted in 40 films as a child artist and his first movie as a child was Edurinti Mogudu Pakkinti Pellam in which Rajendra Prasad acted as a hero.

Baladitya was born on 9 March 1979 to Y.S.Shankar and smt Y.B.T.S.Kalyani in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh. His eyes are dark brown in color. His zodiac sign is Pisces. He completed his schooling from Ramakrishna Mission School, Chennai and Sri Satya Sai Vidya Vihar High School in Hyderabad. He did his intermediate from Nalanda College, Hyderabad. He worked with many directors like Relangi Narasimha Rao, Muthyala Subbaya, E.V.V.Satyanarayana, Gunnam Ganga Raju, V.madhusudhan Rao, Ravi Raja Pinisetti, Dasari Narayana Rao, K.Bala Chander, Kodi Rama Krishna, Eeranki Sharma, A.V.S, B.Gopal, Tammareddi Bharadwaj, Uppalapati Narayana Rao and many.
He acted with many top heroes like Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, Sobhan Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Rajinikanth, Praan, Rajashekar, Chandra Mohan, Krishna, Chiranjeevi, Bala Krishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu, Mohan Babu, Jithendra, NTR, Ajit, etc. He hosts a quiz show which is telecasted on ETV named Champion. His famous role is Sunny in Little Soldiers released in the year 1996.
