Sudhakar Vinukonda is a young Indian filmmaker, director, producer, and writer in the Telugu Film industry, which is popularly known as Tollywood.
Career:
His directorial venture started with the Telugu film Iddaram, which hit the silver screens on 8th July 2016. The movie also marked his debut as a movie producer. In an era where most directors choose a mainstream commercial script for a grand debut, he took a bold step and embarked on the road lea taken, by making a unique movie with fresh content. Iddaram, besides being a romantic thriller film, also raises issues like the disadvantages of early marriage, and subtly touches upon the lives in orphanages. Thus,
Sudhakar Vinukonda's first film was produced under the banner of his own production house.
However, being new in the industry, He did not have plenty of resources, and hence Iddaranwas a low budget film shot at locations like Hyderabad, Vizag, Bidar, and Machilipatnam. The movie managed to do good business at the box office, even though it earned a mixed response from the critics. The efforts yielded in the form of Mister Yogi, another Telugu movie, whose first look was out recently and the movie was starring Naveen Chandra as the male lead and Shalini as the female role, is going to be released in 2018.
