Biography:

Naveen Babu Ghanti is popularly known as Nani in the Indian Film Industry born in the year 1984 on February  24th. He apart from the actor, also a producer, media personality, and television partner. He worked as an assistant director with Srinu Vaitla and Bapu Garu. Meanwhile worked as an RJ for World Space Satellite in Hyderabad.

His father is Rambabu Ghanta and his mother Vijayalakshmi Ghanta. He has one sister Deepthi Ghanta. He is born and brought up in Hyderabad. He did his schooling from St.Alphonsa’s High School Hyderabad. He completed his inter from Narayana Junior College and Graduation from Wesley Degree College, Secunderabad. He got married to Anjana Yalavarthi in 2012 and has one son named Arjun.

Career Struggle (2008-2011):

Mani Ratnam’s movies have a great impact on Nani. He got addicted to movies and wanted to become a director. Producer Anil is his distant relative who gave him a chance to work as a Clap director alongside Bapu garu for the movie Radha Gopalam. After that, he worked for the movies Allari Bullodu, Dhee, and Astram. Then he took a space from that to work on the script. At that time director, Nandini reddy was working as a radio jockey for World Space Satellite. She gave him an offer to work as an RJ. He hosted that program for one year named Non-stop Nani.

Once director Mohan Krishna Indraganti noticed Nani in an advertisement and offered him a chance in the film Asta Chamma alongside Swathi reddy. This movie well received by the audience and Nani got many praises for his performance. One of the websites commented that he has a very good screen presence, perfect emotions, and dances well. His diction is good too.

His second film Ride was also a notable success at the box office and got positive reviews by all. This movie was produced by Bellam Konda Suresh with actors Tanish, Swetha Basu Prasad, and Aksha Pardasany in the major lead roles. His next movie Snehithuda by Satyam Bellamkonda starring Madhavi Latha was a flop at the box office and got negative reviews. In 2010 he played as the main role in Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu which got many appreciations to Nani performance. It was a surprise hit at the box office.

A romantic and comedy entertainer wrote and directed by Nandini Reddy gave him a big break. He got so many positive reviews by critics saying he is a complete natural star and living his role. Pilla Zamdir his last movie in 2011 with a reunion of Asta Chamma actor Srinivas Avasarala gave him one more box office hit. His next movie with SS.Rajamouli, Eega became the biggest blockbuster hit and also dubbed in other languages. In 2012 Gautham Menon's yet Vellipoindi Mansau his performance is one of his best performances to date. It got mixed reviews from film critics but got a very good positive response at the box office.

Bhale Bhale Magadivoy directed by Maruthi Dasari became the fourth highest-grossing Telugu film of all time at the United States Box office. In 2016 he performed in Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, Gentleman, Majnu. In 2017 he acted in Nenu Local, Ninnu Kori, MCA(middle-class Abbayi). In 2018 Krishnarjuna Yudham and Devadas.
