Biography:
Akkineni Nagarjuna is a popular Indian Telugu film actor and a very successful producer. He received nine state Nandi Awards, three Filmfare awards, and Special Mention National film Award. In 1996, Ninne Pelladatha movie won National Film Award for the Best Feature film in Telugu produced by Nag. He is well known for his biographical films like Annamayya, Agni Varsha, LOC Kargil, Sri Ramadasu, Rajanna, Shiridi Sai, Jagadguru Adi Sankara, Om Namo Venkatesaya.

Personal life:
Akkineni Nagarjuna was born on 29 August 1959 in Chennai. His father was an evergreen Hero, Akkineni Nageswar Rao who was a great actor. His mother is Annapurna Akkineni, a homemaker. He has one brother Akkineni Venkat and three sisters Sathyavathi, Naga Susheela, and Saroja. He married daggubati Lakshmi in 1984, had one child named Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and separated in 1990. Later he married Amala in 1992 who is an actress and they have one child Akkineni Akhil.

He completed his schooling from Hyderabad Public School in Hyderabad. His intermediate from Little flowers junior college, Hyderabad. His bachelor of engineering from Guindy engineering college. His M.S in Automobile Engineering from Eastern Michigan University in Michigan, USA. His hobbies are reading and working out. Grilled Chicken, Fish, dosa are his favorite dishes. Amitabh Bachan is his favorite actor and Tabu is his favorite actress. His favorite color is White. Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell is his favorite book. Favorite restaurant is N Asian in Hyderabad.
Career life:
Nagarjuna started his acting in 1968 as a child artist in the movie Sudigundalu. His first debut movie Vikram released in the year 1986. He also hosted the Telugu version season 1of the famous Hindi quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. In his life span of 20 years, he has done 90 films including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

He is a co-owner of Mumbai Masters in the Indian Badminton League along with Sunil Gavaskar and Mahi racing team India with Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He is also a co-owner of Maa Channel.
