Kamal Haasan is an Indian actor who is famous all over the world for his versatile acting. He acted in more than 200 movies including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam languages. Raj Kamal international is his own production company. He has an avid interest in every aspect of film making. He won several awards including national awards, film fare awards. He is one of the actors in distinction with the most number of films submitted by India in the contest of Academy Award for the best foreign-language film. He is the only actor who won more than 18 Filmfare awards. His movie Saagara Sangamam and Bharatheeyudu are the best of his best performances.

He completed his schooling from Sir M.Ct.Muttiah Chettiar Boys Higher Secondary School and Hindu Higher School in Chennai. He has two brothers Chandra Haasan and Charu Haasan, one sister named Nalini. Reading is his hobby. His favorite food is Karimeen fish. He got married to Vani Ganapathi in 1978, blessed with one child Subbalakshmi and separated after 10 years and later married to Sarika. Sarika and Kamal were blessed with two children Akshara Haasan and Shruthi Haasan. They both were separated in 2004 and Kamal started living in with Gauthami from 2005 who is also an actress of yesteryears. But they also got separated in 2016.

Career life:
He started his film career at the age of 4years and won President Gold Medal for his performance in the movie Kalathur Kannamma. His movie Pushpaka Vimanam was the first silent film in color. He wrote his first script at the age of 18 for the movie Unarchigal in 1976. From then his screenplay, script, and dialogues were given to the movies Rajapaarvai in 1981, Sathay in 1988, Apoorva Sahotharargal in 1989, Thevar Magan in 1992, Mahanadi in 1994, Kurudhippunal in 1995, Avvai Shanmugi in 1996, Hey Ram in 2000, Pammal K Sambandam in 2002, Panchathanthiram in 2002, Anbe Sivam in 2003. In 1982 he is the first Indian actor who got five continuous hits. He is also the first Indian who got a salary of 1 crore in 1994. His 7 films were entered by Oscars and he is the only Indian actor with that count. His film Nayaganis is listed in the top 100 greatest movies ever list made by Time Magazine. His dream film was Marudhanayagam which was started in 1997 and inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth 2 but didn’t make yet. His movie Dashavataram was an all-time record as he is the only actor who played 10 different roles in a movie. Raaja Paaravi is the first Indian film with visual effects and animation was his film. In all his career he has suffered more than 30 fractures while performing stunts for movies.
Humanitarian work:
Kamal has converted his fan club into a Welfare organization being involved in various works and activities through the club. He had organized blood and eye donation camps donated educational materials to poor students on many occasions. He also nominated by PM Narendra Modi for the Swatch Bharath Campaign.
