Biography:

Ali is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu film industry. All over he acted in more than 1000 films including Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil. He is also a TV presenter. Most of his movies are with Pawan Kalyan and director Puri Jagannadh movies. He won two film fare awards and two Nandi awards for his comic roles.

Ali was born on 10 October 1968 in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh. His zodiac sign is Libra. His father is Mohammad Basha passed away. He was a Tailor. His mother is Zaitun Bibi who is a homemaker.  He has one younger brother named Khayyum who is also an actor. He got married to Zubeda Sultana Begum on 23 January 1994. Both were blessed with two daughters Mohammed Fathima Rameezun, Zuveria Meethi, and one son Mohammed Abdul Subhan. Travelling is his hobby.

Career life:

Ali's first debut was in Nindu Noorellu released in the year 1979. This movie was directed by K.Raghavendra Rao. Later when director Bharathi Raja looking for a child artist he moved to Chennai and acted in Seethakoka Chiluka. From then he acted in many movies as a child artist. After that, he struggled to get roles as a child artist and later started acting as a comedian in Tollywood. His popular word is Chaata which recognized by the public mostly. He also acted in Kannada movies. One such movie is Super in 2010. Some of his hits are Yamaleela, Khushi, Hello brother, Super, Amma Nana o Tamilammai, Srimanthudu, Kick, jalsa, Desamuduru, Pokiri, etc.

He also became a host to a Talkie show Ali Talkies and a popular show Alitho Saradaga. He recently joined the YSRCP party in 2019.

Awards:

He won the Nandi Award for Best Child Actor for the movie Seethakoka Chiluka in 1981. Also won Nandi Special jury Award for the movie Pittala Dora in 1996.

He runs a Charitable trust named Basha Trust. He received a doctorate degree by AUGP(Academy of Universal Global Peace) for his service to society.
