Goverdhan Reddy was born on 5 May, Mittapally, Siddipet, Telangana, India. Before coming into the film industry completed his education in the field of law [LLB] and he enrolled as an advocate and later on due to his film interest he went on to direct a short film called [2004] Drishti. Goverdhan choose the theme of urban-based domestic workers abuse and interviewed about 500 of them it was inaugurated by late Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy and screened at Ravindrabharathi in Hyderabad. National Domestic Workers Movement [NDWM] later on bought the rights for the film from him and later he did a few more short films based on social issues.
Career:
He is an Indian film director predominant in Telugu movies. He is known for his work from the movies Love You Bangaram and bilingual Telugu and Tamil movies Nayaki. He released his first Telugu language movie Love You Bangaram under Creative Commercials and Maruthi Talkies banners. The movie has Shravya, Rahul Haridas in the main lead roles. His second movie was horror comedy bilingual movie Nayaki starring top heroine Trisha released in Telugu and Tamil by July 2016.
