Ramanuj Sharma Wiki | Biography

Ramanuj Sharma, generally considered as the first superstar of Chhattisgarhi films, was born on 15 May 1976, to Teken Lal Sharma and Dehuti Sharma, at Bhatapara in Raipur in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh. He did his schooling at a local school in Bhatapara and, later, secured a Master’s degree in History from the Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur.

Anuj Sharma is married to Dr. Smita Sharma and the couple lives at Sant Kabir Nagar in Raipur. Anuj Sharma is a towering film personality and an eminently well established passionate filmmaker on Indian soil. Over the years he has cut his niche as a skilled craftsman on the entertainment horizon. He loves film making to the extent that he thinks, creates, breathes, and lives cinema. His father KC Sharma is a well known and regular producer.

Anuj has given over 400 stage shows in Maharashtra, Odisha, and Madhya Pradesh and throughout the Chhattisgarh state. Anuj is the most popular actor, singer, composer, stage designer, scriptwriter, director, and producer. He has also done mass appeal for campaigning of UNICEF initiatives in Chhattisgarhi and has also made several ad films including films for tourism promotion of the state. He is also the first Radio Jockey in Chhattisgarhi language in a national F M channel along with being the first compeer in a satellite television channel in Chhattisgarhi with over 125 program presentations so far. His contributions have been widely acclaimed and have received a number of awards, honors, and recognitions including the best film actor award four times.
