Biography:

Naresh is an Indian actor who majorly worked in the Telugu film industry. he portrayed lead comic roles in most of his movies in the 1980s to 1990s and later acted in supporting roles. He received a title H.E. and Ph.D. in arts from U.N.ICDRHRP from the United Nations group which is most prestigious.

Personal life:

Naresh also called Naresh Krishna Murthy was born on 20 January 1960 in Chennai. His mother is actress Vijaya Nirmala who passed away on 27 June 2019 and his father is Krishna Murthy. Super Star Krishna is his stepfather. He completed his studies from Ramakrishna Mission High School. He completed his graduation from Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan. His half brother is Mahesh Babu who is well known popular star and Ramesh Ghattamaneni. His half-sisters are Manjula, Priyadarshini, and Padmavathi. He got married to Ramya Raghupathi and both had three children namely Naveen Vijaya Krishna, Thejaswini, and Ranveer.

Career life:

In 1972 he started his film career as a child artist with the movie Pandanti Kapuram. He made his first debut as an actor with a movie Prema Sankellu in 1982 which was directed by his mother. Though it ran with an average success rate, music was super hit. Later he acted in Nalugu Sthambalata in 1982 which was a box office hit. All over he acted in more than 200 movies including lead roles, supporting characters, and comedian roles. Some of his notable movies include Rendu Jella Sita, Sreevariki Prema Lekha, Jambalakadi Pamba, Malliswari, Oka Oorilo, 100% Love, Drusyam, etc.

He is an active member and politician of the Bharatiya Janatha Party. He is also a founder of Kalakarula Ikya Vedika which is an NGO and nonprofit Organisation with an intention to protect dying ancient arts and support media arts.
