He began his career with Vamsy’s ‘Anumanaspadam’ in which he has written the story and it was a thriller film which had Aryan Rajesh and Hamsa Nandidin playing the main lead roles. His first debut movie as a director was ‘Raksha’ which was produced by Ram Gopal Varma and Azam Khan. For this film, he also wrote the story and screenplay. This movie was a remake of a Hindi film ‘Phoonk’. It was produced by A.Gururaj and directed b Akella Vamsi Krishna and his next project was ‘Aggipulla’ which was directed by him.
The movie Shraddha Das and Sudheer Babu in lead roles. In addition, there was another movie ‘Jakkanna’ is a 2016 Telugu movie directed by Vamsi. The movie features Sunil and Mannara Chopra in the lead roles, with Kabir Duhan Singh and Saptagiri playing supporting roles. In 2016 July 29 Jakkanna was released.
