Career :
Santhosh P Jayakumar, who made his directorial debut with 2017 Hara Hara Mahadevaki, and later went on to make Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu [IAMK] and Ghajinikanth, has turned actor for his next film, a spiritual sequel to IAMK. “I actually approached a lot of actors for IAMK 2, but they were concerned about their image and did not want to be a part of the movie. Gautham Karthik is currently expecting the release of Devarattam an upcoming Tamil action movie directed by M MUthaiah. The movie is produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the studio Green and starts Manjima Mohan as the female lead with Soori as the main comedian.
Santhosh P, following the success of Hara Hara Mahadevaki and Iruttu Arayil Murattu Kutthu with Gautham Karthik in the lead role, made Ghajinikanth with Arya and Sayyeshaa which was bankrolled by KE Gananvel Raja under his banner of Studio Green. The movie failed to entertain the masses as it received average reviews. The Telugu remake of his IAMK hit the screens last month and in comparison to the Tamil original, and the Telugu version did not do well at the box office. His next film IAMK 2, which also stars Daniel Annie Pope, Ravi Mariya, Charms, Vijay TV-Fame TSK, and Rajendran, will have three debutantes as the female lead roles.
