Parasuram was born in 1982, Cherlopalem, Visakhapatnam district, Andhra Pradesh. He completed his MBA at Andhra University before pursuing a career in movies.
Career:
Parasuram is an Indian screenwriter and director who predominantly works in Telugu films. He started working as an assistant director for his cousin Puri Jagannadh on Itlu Sravani Subhramanyam, 143, and Andhrawala. He also worked as an associate director for Bommarilu Bhaskar in his 2008 movie Parugu. In 2008 His debut movie Yuvatha starring Nikhil Siddharth and it was well-received by the critics and the film performed well at the box office. In 2009 his next movie ‘Anjaneyulu’ a comedy entertainer starring Ravi Teja and received positive reviews from the critics and was a box office hit.
In 2011 He made ‘Solo’ starring with Nara Rohit, the movie was a big hit at the box office and was widely praised by the critics. In 2012, He collaborated again with Ravi Teja for the movie’ Sarocharu’. The movie received negative reviews from the critics and was a failure at the box office. In 2018 he made Geetha Govindham starring Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, the movie received positive reviews by the critics and became one of the big hits of the year.
