Sai Kiran Adivi was born on 11 Agust 1976, Andhra Pradesh, India. Father Mr.Adivi Kanakaraju and late Mrs.Adivi Subba Ratnam. Both of his parents were writers who also inspired Sai Kiran to write scripts and enter filmmaking. His interest in movie making made him come to Hyderabad from Kakinada in 1999. Later he got his first film in 2004. Before his first movie, he made various documentaries.
Career:
Sai Kiran Adivi is a director and producer who works in the Indian movie industry particularly in Telugu movies. He has done only a few movies still has been well known in the industry and he owns a production house named My Dream Cinema private limited and is its chief executive officer. In 2004 He debuted his career with the film Anand. He was the part of the direction team of Sekhar Kammula who directed the film and released on 15th October. The film receives positive reviews from critics and audiences. Following this, he worked with the direction team of happy days and it was a comedy which released on 23 October 2007. Directed by Sekhar Kammula again the movie is based on eight friends who stand by each other whatever be the situation.
He acted, wrote, directed, and produced for the first time in 2008 with the film Vinayakudu. Vinayakudu is a romantic action movie revolving around a big fat man named Karthick who falls for a lady Kalpana while working with her in Hyderabad but she doesn’t feel for him. The movie received a good response and following this he again wrote, produced, and directed another movie titled Village lo Vinayakudu in the year 2009. Later after a long gap of five years, He came up with Kerintha on 12 June 2015. The movie too got average reviews and he won Nandi Award in the category of the best first movie.
