Koratala Siva was born in Pedakakani, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu movies.
Career:
He started his career working as a software engineer, Siva worked as a screenwriting assistant under his uncle Posani Krishna Murali. Subsequently, he ventured into cinema as a Dialogue writer for movies such as Munna, Okkadunnadu, Brindavanam, and Oosaravelli. In 2013 He made his directorial debut with Mirchi starring Prabhas and Anushka. In 2015 Siva directed Srimanthudu, which was a commercial success and has received three Film fare Awards South, six IIFA Awards, and Six SIMA Awards. In 2016 he directed another movie Janatha Garage which grossed an estimated 135 crore and it earned a distributor’s share amount 60 crores in its first week of release.
