Rakhi Sawant is a well-known celebrity of Bollywood and Tellywood. Rakhi Sawant is an Indian dancer, model, Hindi film and television actress and television talk show host, who has appeared in many Hindi and a few Kannada, Marathi, Telugu and Tamil films. She was a contestant on Bigg Boss. She first auditioned for an item number for Bollywood movie, Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne. Later she was part of the song “Mohabbat Hai Mirchi”.

Sawant had launched her own political party, the Rashtriya Aam Party to contest the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections. However, after the election, she joined the Republican Party of India. Rakhi Sawant has often been in the news due to actions and statements that are deemed controversial in the Indian context. Sawant appeared in the music video “Pardesia” and gained popularity for her dancing abilities. She was also seen in the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye along with Abhishek Avasthi. She was last seen in the Mumbai Can Dance Sala movie.

Controversy queen Rakhi was born on November 25, 1978, into a Hindu Marathi family. She has completed her schooling from Goklibai High School Vile Parle suburb of Mumbai and after that, she attended Mithibai College for her graduation.
